6th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS)

The Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS) aims to:

  1. Inspire innovative and informative IS research that is relevant to the social, economic, and cultural particularities of the Mediterranean Region
  2. Foster ground breaking IS research to improve the quality of life in the Mediterranean Region through further development of the regional knowledgebase and its emerging collaboration infrastructure
  3. Raise the visibility of IS-related research practice, education and policy carried out in the Mediterranean region.

The MCIS conference series is held under the auspices of the Association of Information Systems (AIS).

The 2011 Conference will take place at Amathus Hotel, Limassol, Cyprus on 3-5 September 2011.

A Junior Faculty and Doctoral Student Professional Development Consortium will take place on the day prior to the conference.

MCIS 2010 took place in Tel-Aviv-Yaffo, Israel in September 12-14 2010 under the auspices of the Association of Information Systems (AIS).
